Week 7 Game Review

BEAVERS (2-5) COUGARS (5-2)

A close game, with a dramatic finish. 

Cougars steal the win from right under the Beavers tails. The Beavers took advantage of the absence of some of the Cougars superstars. Starting off strong and going into the second half with a lead the Beavers thought they had a chance to defeat the Cougars this week. Late in the second half, Hayley Fix contributed to the crucial turning point for the Cougars, scoring 2 fast break goals. This close game ended in a win for the Cougars. In the last two minutes, a controversial scoreboard error lead to some confusion on the field. Beavers, with mistaken confidence, stalled the ball for the last two minutes instead of kicking it up and driving to net. 

Air BnBs and hostels booked, the women have one more league game before they head to Hong Kong.
